I'll post pictures but T-Ball was great. Lexie, who played 3rd base, went after every ball and Katie didn't move at all unless she was asking for hot chocloate or walking off the field to tell me her nose was cold.
They got up to bat three times and ran the bases each time. Katie choose not to touch second base at all, it is faster to run from first to third is a straight line, just in case you weren't sure. They had their helmets for batting (Katie pink, Lexie blue) and both have a hole in the back for pony-tails. Lexie needs one but Katie not so much, however if you have a place for a pony tail you need to have a pony tail in your hair. We may need to get extensions for the next game. We will miss a few games while we are in the New England area but when we get back - it should be a bit warmer so they won't need to wear sweat pants UNDER their very large baseball pants. Katie could pull her pants over her cleats - 'look Mommy, this will keep my feet warm'.
Pictures will follow - they both did great!!!
Kenny just wanted to wander around and was doing everything possible to squeeze himself through the holes in the fence so he could be in the dugout with his sisters. Pushing, pulling, grunting, banging - nothing seemed to open the fence holes any larger. It is hard to be 15 months old!! For the last few days he has been doing face plants on the wood floors. I guess he hasn't learned yet that you need to put your hands out if you are falling - of course it doesn't help much that he usually has some sort of food product in his hands as the time. Once the head starts to fall it just pulls the rest of the body over = not much time to react. SAVE THE FOOD.
Can't wait to go up North in a few days. It will be interesting, this is my first 6 - 8 hour trip with the kids by myself. Bathroom breaks will be my favorite - I am sure of it!!!
